If you’re in need of a new pair of shoes or you’re just a huge fan of shoes but don’t want to spend a ton of money on them, this guide is for you. (By the way, this post is NOT SPONSORED. Although I kind of wish it was because I could use some money to pay tuition over here….)
Recently, I bought a pair of Anne Klein pumps (yes, they’re the ones pictured in this post) that were originally around $50 for less than $15 from DSW. I was able to do this by stacking a bunch of coupons and deals. This “mini accomplishment” inspired me to write a post to share with you guys some tips and tricks to getting good shoes without breaking the bank. Here they are:
Shop at Discount Stores or Outlets
One great way to find good brand name shoes for cheap is to shop at discount stores. These are stores like Nordstrom Rack, 6pm or Saks Off Fifth. I also check out the outlet stores for some of my favorite shoe brands like Cole Haan. These places usually have great designer shoes for cheap.
Check the clearance section of your favorite shoe stores. You never know if you’ll find something you like here for discount.
Sign Up for Rewards Programs
One of my favorite places to shop for shoes is DSW because of their rewards program. You can collect points every time you buy a pair of shoes which you can later redeem for credit to spend in the store. Look for shoe stores with programs like this if you plan on shopping there a lot or if you like their shoes. You can really save in the long run, especially if you’re a huge shoe lover.
Sign Up for Email Newsletters
If you really like a certain brand, sign up for their E-mail newsletter. These newsletters usually inform you about sales going on or discount codes. This requires a bit more patience but trust me, it feels great when you score a pair of shoes for a cheaper price!
Look for Discount Codes
If you’re shopping online, always look for discount codes before you buy. A quick search only takes a few moment, but can save you some money which can be pretty worth it.
I hope you find these shoe shopping tips useful next time you are on a quest to buy new shoes. If you have any hacks to getting nice shoes for cheap, comment below because I’d love to hear about it.
